Ingredients
- 2 large brown onions, sliced into 1cm rings
- ½ cup plain flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil spray
Method
- Separate onion slices into rings. Set up a crumbing station: flour in one bowl, beaten egg in another, and panko mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a third.
- Coat each ring in flour, dip in egg, then press firmly into the panko mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 200°C. Arrange rings in a single layer ā cook in batches if needed.
- Spray lightly with olive oil. Cook for 10ā12 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Season with extra salt and serve immediately.
