Get ready for fall-off-the-bone goodness with these Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs. Perfectly tender and coated in rich, smoky sauce, they're an effortless way to enjoy a classic barbecue favourite.

What you'll need:

  • 1.2kg Pork BBQ Ribs
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) tomato sauce
  • 1 tbs brown sugar
  • Coleslaw, to serve
  • Barbecue sauce, extra, to serve

How it's made:

  • Use a large sharp knife to cut the ribs into portions large enough to fit in slow cooker bowl.
  • Combine the paprika, garlic powder and cumin in a small bowl. Rub mixture all over ribs. Combine the barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce and sugar in a small bowl. Brush mixture all over ribs portions.
  • Arrange ribs in layers in the bowl of a slow cooker. Pour over any remaining sauce mixture. Cover with lid. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 3 hours or until tender.
  • Preheat grill on high. Line a baking tray with foil. Use tongs to transfer ribs to the lined tray. Pour sauce into a medium saucepan and place over medium heat. Simmer for 5 mins or until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Brush ribs with sauce and cook under grill for 3 to 4 mins or until ribs start to char and caramelise. Serve ribs with hot chips, coleslaw and extra barbecue sauce.
